Man sentenced to four death sentences

GREEN COVE SPRINGS (AP) – A 29-year-old man convicted in September of four counts of first-degree murder has received four death sentences for slayings at a smoke house for crack cocaine in northeast Florida.

Gary Bernard McCray Jr. showed no emotion when Circuit Judge William Wilkes sentenced the Jacksonville man Wednesday.

McCray was convicted of in the May 2004 deaths of John Ellis Jr., Phillip Perrotta, Robin Selkirk and John Whitehead.
