Information sought in 2nd Dunkin’ Donuts robbery
TAMARAC, Fla. (AP) _ Authorities have increased the reward to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest of two men who violently robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts, the second such incident in as many days in South Florida.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office says two armed suspects entered the Tamarac cafe Thursday evening, shot 57-year-old Kiem Huynh and stole cash from customers. Huynh is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
A day earlier, a group of men robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts in Delray Beach. Police say they went through customers’ pockets, cleaned out the store register and shot four people. A $5,000 reward has been offered in that case.
Anyone with information about the robberies can call Broward Crime Stoppers anonymously at 954-493-TIPS.
