Cape Coral First

United Methodist Church

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church’s new sermon series is entitled “Talking In The Dark: Praying When Life Doesn’t Make Sense” based on the book of the same name authored by Steve Harper. When our prayers seem to go unanswered, our first thought is, “Why didn’t God answer? ” We may have any number of related questions, but the primary one has to do with God. This is no different from other areas of life. When someone does not return our phone call or reply to our e-mail, we naturally wonder about the receiver. Since God is the receiver of our prayers, we naturally question God before we question anything else. If you are frustrated in your prayer life and wonder whether prayer is worth the effort, find assurance in this stimulating series beginning Sunday, Aug. 28.

Foundations Early Learning Center is now open. Foundations Early Learning Center provides childcare, preschool and afterschool care for children from infants to 8 years old in a brand new facility as part of the growing family & youth programs at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church.
