Cape Christian Fellowship
This weekend Pastor Dennis Gin-gerich continues the series “Lessons of a Great Comeback” with the message “When People Disappoint.” Contem-porary worship gatherings are Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:15 a.m.
During worship gatherings, Bugz Landing is a safe and caring place for infants through Pre-K5 and Kidz Street is open for K-Grade 5 (8:30 a.m. service only provides childcare for 0-2 years old). Energy is a class for middle school students during worship gatherings each weekend.
Middle school students are invited to Energy every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. High school students are invited to Awakening every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church
Cape Coral First United Methodist continues the sermon series entitled “Finding Buried Treasure in the Old Testament.” Find today’s meaning in familiar lessons from the Old Testa-ment. This week learn about “Daniel and the Lion’s Den.”
Senior Pastor Jay Therrell’s next sermon series is entitled “The Parent-ing Dilemma: Raising a Godly Child.” This series starts Sunday, Aug. 7, and coincides with the start of another school year.

Faith Bible Fellowship
Faith Bible Fellowship is hosting a free Puppet Extravaganza! presented by the international traveling puppet troupe, Yadah, Sunday July 31, at 10 a.m., at the Cape Coral Youth Center (315 S.W. 2nd Avenue) Contact: 239-458-0020 with your questions.
Yadah is a high-end, high-impact “professional” puppet ministry. They will challenge your heart as they get your hands clapping and feet tapping. Each summer the group travels for 10 days, ministering as far north as Maine, south to Florida, and west to Arizona. The group has been in 28 states and have shared in the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas as well.

Faith Presbyterian sermon series
The Rev. Dr. H. Timothy Halverson, Pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church, will preach a 5-part sermon series on the Book of James that began July 3.
The half-brother to Jesus, James wrote his letter to first-century Jewish Christians who had been scattered throughout the Mediterranean world because of persecution. James offers practical advice on living a Christian life, reminding Christians that genuine faith transforms lives and will inevitably produce good deeds.
Faith Presbyterian Church is located at 4544 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral. Sunday services are at 8:15, 9:18 (modern), 9:30 (informal) and 11 a.m. Pastor Tom Hafer leads the 9:18 a.m. service at Faith Center.
Faith’s Summer Vocal Choir will sing on July 24, and 31; and Aug. 7, 14 and 21. Anyone interested in taking part is invited to come to the Music Suite for rehearsal at 10:30 a.m., and to sing at the 11 a.m. service. Prior participation in Faith Choir is not necessary; the church welcomes new voices.

First Baptist Church

Healing Prayer Afghan Ministry
A Life In Christ invites all knitting or crocheting prayer warriors in Cape Coral to join our Healing Prayer Afghan Ministry Fridays from 11-1 p.m. HPA knits and crochets 6-inch x 6-inch or 8-inch x 8-inch afghan squares that are pieced together into afghans that are given away freely to the ill or grieving. Only 100 percent acrylic 4-ply medium worsted weight yarn (washable, fade resistant, mothproof) is used. Volunteers pray for the healing, comfort, financial peace and salvation of each afghan recipient.
Anyone with even beginning knitting/crocheting skills may participate. There is no cost to join, and supplies are available for volunteers to use on site. HPA meets each Friday at Cuppa Life, a coffee and sandwich shop at Del Prado Mall, in the same plaza as TJ Maxx.

New Hope Baptist Fellowship

The “Missionary of the Month” is Dr. Cornelius Hegerman. He is an academic dean at Miami International Seminary (MINTS). He supervises distance education for pastors around the world. He himself travels throughout Latin America, teaching classes to pastors of churches who lack a desirable level of education. Regular seminary-level courses are offered in all areas and degrees are awarded as the students advance to higher levels of learning. The pastors then teach others courses so that the program is growing exponentially..
