By Staff | May 20, 2011

Join Rabbi Devora Buchen and Jewish War Veteran Post 400 for a very special Shabbat service in honor of Memorial Day and all of America’s veterans.

The service will be held at Temple Beth Shalom, 702 S.E. 24th Ave., Cape Coral, Friday, May 27, at 7:30 p.m. Within the service, guests will be able to hear from local veterans, Jewish War Veteran 400’s Post Chaplain Bob Cummings, Post Commander Harvey Charter and more.

Temple Beth Shalom has issued an open invitation to all veterans as well as the public to pay tribute to veterans of all wars.

The service will be followed by an Oneg (a word meaning “Sabbath delights”) with refreshments prepared by the Temple Beth Shalom Sisterhood.
