The Junior League announces Connie Ramos-Williams as their new 2009/2010 PR Chair. Ramos-Williams and her committee will be responsible for branding and promotions of the Junior League’s community events, membership recruitment, socials and charitable activities throughout the one year term.

Her duties include event promotion and coverage, photography, writing press releases and media relations. This is her third year with the Junior League.

Ramos-Williams is the President of CONRIC PR & Marketing, a local multimedia branding and promotions company. She is also a freelance travel and features writer. Ramos-Williams is the founder of SWFL Parent & Child magazine and past Advertising Director of the Non-Daily/Niche division at The News-Press. She has served on the board of directors and committes for several area nonprofits over the past ten years, including the YMCA of Lee County and The Multicultural Centre of SWFL.

The Junior League of Fort Myers, Inc., a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
