Moving meditation
The labyrinth offers a unique form of moving meditation, as one walks a path that leads into a center, and then out again. Very different than a maze. The only physical challenge of the labyrinth is to stay on the path, which frees the mind to relax. Several outdoor Labyrinths exist in the Lee County area. However, this walk will be indoors so humidity, insects, and time of day will not be a factor. Wearing of socks is requested, The walk will be held Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Caloosa Bayview Recreation Center, 4282 Island Cr, Fort Myers.
Co-hosts: Kim Becker of A Purple Circle, www.apurplecircle.com, 940-0024; and Kandy Love of Health & Harmony Center, visit: www.healthandharmonycenter.com or call 433-5995.
