Cattle Baron’s Ball announces new venue, presenting sponsor
The seventh annual Cattle Barons’ Ball plans to kick up its heels at Bell Tower Shops, it was announced today by Chairperson Danielle Lucht. The event, a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society of Lee County, will be held Jan. 23, 2010.
During the reception at the Fort Myers shopping center, a new logo was also revealed. Designed by Peggy Wilson, of Naples-based Wilson Creative Group, the logo will be on display on the east side of the shopping center’s bell tower.
“We are thrilled that Bell Tower Shops is our presenting sponsor,” said Lucht. “The location is terrific and BTS will be the perfect venue for fundraising activities throughout the year.”
Since 2004, the Lee County Cattle Barons’ Ball has raised approximately $2.7 million in support of the American Cancer Society. The dollars raised at the annual event go directly to funding research to fight adult and pediatric cancer, find a cure, and support several local cancer programs.
“Mall management and merchants are honored to provide the venue for this important benefit,” added Amy Fletcher-Smith, marketing director for Bell Tower Shops. “We strongly believe in the mission of the American Cancer Society and want to take this popular Lee County event to new heights.”
