The Save The Pets Alliance in Partnership with PETCO will be doing its first Paw’s Pantry Pet Food Drive at Gulf Coast Town Center on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Save the Pets Alliance is inviting all animal lovers in Lee County to come out for a day of fun and activities, including a Harley Davidson Tent & Poker Run, BMW and Mercedes Benz will be giving test drives in new cars, Fred Astaire Dance Studio will be give dance demos, free samples, coupons and a raffle drawing from Natural Balance and giveaways to customers. The Animal Refuge Center will be doing onsite adoptions for anyone who wants to give a cat or dog a good home. PETCO has joined The Save the Pets Alliance and will be helping their Food & Supplies Drive that will assist pet owners with food and supplies so they can keep their pets in their homes where they belong. Save the Pets Alliance will be collecting food and supplies at the store on June 6.

The Save the Pets Alliance is a cooperative effort of the Animal Refuge Center, Lee County Animal Services, Caloosa Veterinary Medical Society, the Harry Chapin Food Bank, CyberSunshine and PETCO to assist pet owners with food and supplies needed to keep pets in their homes rather than relinquishing them to shelters.
