Jack Hanna and his animals to highlight fund raiser for Calusa Nature Center
The Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium will welcome Jack Hanna and his animals to Harborside Event Center on Thursday, May 7, for Spring Fling 2009, its annual fund-raising dinner.
Jack Hanna is director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. He and his exotic animals have been featured on national television shows such as the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, Larry King Live and many others. Spring Fling begins at 6 p.m. on May 7 with a Silent Auction. After a seated dinner, Jack Hanna will entertain and educate the audience at Harborside with his stories of adventure and his live animal guests.
