Cape Coral Arts Studio

Spring classes for adults and youth will be held today-April 25. Register early. Supplies for all classes can be purchased at the studio supply store. A student discount is available. Cape Coral Library Art Gallery

The Cape Coral Library Art Gallery presents Dave Thomas as the artist for the month of March. Thomas started with graphic design in 1996. Two years later he was introduced to another form of expression known as broadcast design, or motion design. Thomas is now working on a new project where video images are combined in a gallery setting that also displays associated photographic images and digital designs. He resides in Cape Coral with his wife, Catherine, and their four children.

Cape Coral Art League

The Cape Coral Art League will host its annual Arts of March show throughout the month of March, Monday-Friday, noon-4 p.m. The art exhibited was created by artists belonging to the SW Florida Arts Council. Annual Shell Point Art Show and Sale

The annual Shell Point Art Show and Sale will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and noon-4 p.m. Sunday. The show is open to the public. For information, call Ted Yeaths at 454-2057.

Lee County

Alliance for the Arts

As part of the Southwest Florida Reading Festival, the Lee County Alliance of the Arts celebrates “Fantasy & Fairytales in Books and Art” from 4-6 p.m. March 19. This is a free, family event. Mary Lou Williams, the featured storyteller, will take the stage at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. to tell the tales of “Fractured Fairytales.”

The exhibition “State of Abstraction” is showing today-March 27 as the final part of the “Alliance Gallery Goes Abstract” series, which began in January.
