Four Freedoms Park
On Saturday from 9-10 a.m. kids 3 to 5 can enjoy a special day with Santa. The cost is $17 for residents and $20 for non-residents. Children will enjoy an hour of singing, games and a special craft. Santa will make an appearance and each child will receive a special visit.
Dec. 23 from 9-10 a.m. is story time with Mrs. Claus for kids ages 1 to 2 years old. Cost is $15 for residents and $17 for non-residents. The morning includes a finger play, a craft and a holiday snack with Mrs. Claus.

Cape Coral Yacht Club
Yacht Club Adventure camp for ages 8 through 12 is Dec. 29-31 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The resident fee is $80 and the non-resident fee is $90. The camp will offer kayaking, tennis, fishing, swimming, beach tennis and elf training for ages 5 through 7. Pre-registration is required.
For parents that need extra time around the holidays for last minute shopping, children can be dropped off at the yacht club, on Dec. 22-23 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be crafts and activities and snacks will be provided. Cost per person per day is $30 for residents and $33 for non-residents.
Symphony star guest to teach vocalists
The Southwest Florida Symphony will hold a Master Class on Thursday from 12:10 a.m.-2 p.m. with vocal music teacher Gary Stroh and his students at Cypress Lake High School. Cost is $5.
Student rush tickets are available to any young musician or vocalist who wishes to see Matos perform with the symphony Friday and Saturday. The Friday concert will be performed at 7:30 pm at Faith United Methodist Church in Fort Myers. The Saturday concert will be held at 4 pm at First Baptist Church in Cape Coral. For advance purchases, call 418 1500. Tickets are also available at the door.

Bookmobile ribbon-cutting
The Lee County Library System invites the community for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new library bookmobile on Thursday. The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the African Caribbean American Center, 3681 Michigan Ave., Fort Myers. The ceremony will feature speakers from the Lee County Board of County Commissioners, Lee County Library System and AFCAAM. Special entertainment will be provided by the students of AFCAAM. Refreshments will be served. This is the library system’s fourth vehicle to offer bookmobile since the program began in 1965.
Edison State College

Imaginarium
Holidayland Family Fun event at the Imaginarium Hands-On Museum & Aquarium with Santa and winter holiday activities Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. There are special activities planned from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost is one free admission with each paid adult. FGCU graduation

Biometric fingerprinting
