Second season of Saturday street market coming to Cape Coral starting in November

By Staff | Oct 20, 2008

Just like the markets that are so popular in Europe, downtown Cape Coral is preparing for the second season of The Downtown Street Market. On the first Saturday of each month — November through April — over 60 vendors will take to Vincennes Boulevard with booths and tables offering a wide array of items.

The market attracts thousands upon thousands of people to come and browse through beautiful antiques, original artwork, handcrafted gifts and upscale collectible pieces.

A wide variety of craftsmen and vendors are on hand each month. From garden decor to luxury home furnishings, from one-of-a-kind handbags, purses and jackets to antique crocks and old-fashioned quilts, from scented soaps, lotions and oils to handmade pottery, you will find something for everyone at the Downtown Street Market.

This year the 3 Ts Car Club will have vintage, stock and classic cars displayed and Tom’s Traveling Tunes will be playing your favorite music.

The Downtown Street Markets run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and admission is free.  There is plenty of free parking in the surrounding City parking lots located in Big John Plaza, Iguana Mia and Club Square.  The Downtown Street Market in only one block east of the Farmer’s Market
