The Alliance for the Arts has announces that Chelsea Birczak is the group’s new publicity director. In this position, Birczak’s main responsibility is to raise awareness of the organization, the designated arts agency for Lee County.

Birczak is no stranger to the alliance. She first joined the team as a marketing intern, from Florida Gulf Coast University, in August 2007. Upon graduation, in December, she was hired as the Events Coordinator, also assisting with publicity on a regular basis.  In accepting this position, her main goal is to learn the media business as in depth as possible to benefit the Alliance.

The Alliance for the Arts galleries are open from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday and from 10 to 3 on Saturdays, located at 10091 McGregor Boulevard just south of Colonial Boulevard.
