Harley-Davidson/Buell to host attempt for ‘largest Harley parade’

By Staff | Jul 16, 2009

Harley-Davidson/Buell of Fort Myers is calling all local riders to be a part of history as they attempt to break the current Guinness Book world record for the “largest Harley parade” on Sunday, July 26.

Participants will gather at Harley-Davidson/Buell of Fort Myers, located at 2160 Colonial Blvd., at 9 a.m., for coffee and breakfast. The group will then ride to Germain Arena, 11000 Everblades Parkway, in Estero, at 11 a.m. for the official count.

Riders are asked to call the dealership at (239) 275-4647 by July 22 to reserve their spot. By reserving, participants are guaranteed to get their name and bike printed as part of the record, if it is in fact broken.

After the official bike count, riders are invited to then go to the Seminole Casino in Immokalee. A $1,000 drawing will take place at 3 and 4 p.m., followed by a drawing for a Harley Road King at 5 p.m.
