The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will hold its monthly luncheon meeting from 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m. April 6 at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre.

The chapter welcomes special guest Lanette Hart, the association’s president, as a panel of area public relations professionals discuss their respective roles in preparation for and follow-up from the recent visit of President Barack Obama.

Past presidents of the Southwest Florida chapter will be honored as well. Susan Johnson, general manager of Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, will moderate.

Networking starts at 11:15 a.m. and reservations are required. Reservation deadline is Thursday.

Established in 1938, the Florida Public Relations Association is the oldest public relations organization in the country. It is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners, who, through ethical and standardized practices, enhance the public relations profession in Florida.
