Dave M. Arter Jr., an associate with Oswald Trippe and Company Inc. specializing in personal lines insurance including homeowners and automobile, has been recognized as the 2008 Associate of the Year for his work with the Collier Building Industry Association.

Presented at the organization’s recent installation banquet, the award, selected by prior recipients, recognizes those who serve the mission and represent the core values of the Collier Building Industry Association.

During the banquet, Arter was also installed, for the fourth year, as a member of the board of directors. Since 2004, he has been an ambassador and active participant in the membership committee. During the last three years, Arter has served as the chairperson of the association’s SPIKE Club.

The Collier Building Industry Association is an organization of industry professionals who are inspired to make a real difference in the community through advocacy, education, networking and philanthropy.
