By Staff | Mar 28, 2008

Three local representatives from the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP Collier – Lee Chapter) will be attending a legislative conference in Washington, D.C., this week along with representatives from chapters throughout Florida and the entire country.

Blanca Conteras from Century 21 Birchwood Realty in Cape Coral, the president of the local chapter, along with Gilda Suarez from Executive Title, marketing director in multicultural markets and vice-president of the chapter, and Christine H. Jones from Bank of America Mortgage Division, vice president, market manager Collier/Lee/Hendry counties, and secretary of the chapter, will be attending this conference.

The conference is designed to enlighten policy makers about the type of changes that must be made in the industry to protect homeowners and enable real estate businesses to thrive.

NAHREP will be joined by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers and the Asian Real Estate Association of America to support their mutual goals of furthering home buyer-oriented protections and initiatives.
