Lee Mental Health Center and Southwest Florida Addiction Services will be hosting a Candidates’ Forum on Behavioral Healthcare Issues Thursday, Aug. 2, at 6 p.m., in the Fould’s Theater at the Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.

Candidates for the Lee County Commission, Lee County Sheriff, Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate (representing Lee County) have been invited to address voters and answer questions about their positions on behavioral healthcare issues.

Lee Mental Health and SWFAS held the same event two years ago for a standing-room-only audience of voters.
