Cape Coral Neighborhood Watch to hold youth talent show

The Cape Coral Neighborhood Watch is hosting its inaugural “Cape’s Got Talent” Youth Talent Show Tuesday, Aug. 2. Contestants will be broken into two age brackets (6-12 and 13-18) as well as “North Cape” and “South Cape” Artist groups.

Youth may register by downloading and completing a registration form at www.capecoralwatch.com. Auditions will be held for registered contestants at various locations throughout the month of July.

“We wanted to have a capstone event to go a along with the National Night Out that would give us a chance to highlight some of the outstanding young talent in our city and provide our youth with a positive outlet during the summer,” said Bill Speed, president of the Cape Coral Neighborhood Watch.

Applications can be dropped off at the Cape Coral Police Department Headquarters at 1000 Cultural Park Boulevard.
