The Son of Italy Charles J. Bonaparte Lodge #2504 is seeking sponsors for the The Columbus Day Parade & Italian Food Fest Celebration scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, from 3-10 p.m., along Southeast 47th Terrace in downtown Cape Coral, between Coronado Parkway and Vincennes Boulevard.

Organizers are currently in need of $5,000 in sponsorships

The club committee will meet Wednesday to determine whether it can proceed with this event or cancel it.

Last year this event brought approximately 10,000 to 12,000 people to South Cape
