Today the Fort Myers Police Department conducted a search warrant at 1648 Maravilla Ave. The investigation began in response to neighborhood complaints about drug activity. Police seized 141 bags of heroin (approximately 14 grams), 30 methadone pills, one Zanax pill, one Colazapan pill and miscellaneous items of drug paraphernalia. In addition, detectives seized $1,280 in cash and a vehicle.

Police arrested Jose Alicea, 48, for trafficking in heroin and Jennifer Noland, 31, for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (X3) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
