A decomposing body was discovered this morning in an apartment building in the 4900 block of Coronado Parkway in Cape Coral.

According to city officials, a call came in to the Cape Police Department at 7:56 a.m. from neighbors reporting a foul odor coming from the apartment.

According to city spokesperson Connie Barron, police are calling the death suspicious. No other details are available at this time.
