By Staff | Mar 12, 2009

The volunteer organization, Coalition for Change, is sponsoring a blood drive to benefit the patients of Lee Memorial Health System Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, 1380 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers.

The first 100 donors will receive a free dinner and show ticket to see the “Wedding Singer,” a $50 value, playing April 16-June 6, compliments of the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater.

Donors will also receive a coupon for a free Grand Slam Breakfast compliments of Denny’s and a coupon for free coffee and donut courtesy of Dunkin Donuts as well as a a Blood Center gift.

All blood collected remains in the Lee Memorial Health System to serve your community. Lee Memorial Health System uses 500+ units of blood each week. With both The Children’s Hospital and the only trauma center within a five county area, the need for blood locally remains constant, and needs to be replenished daily. All blood types are currently needed.
