Starting at approximately 9 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, and continuing through approximately 5 p.m., Friday, March 6, motorists should be on alert for a temporary road closure to the east of Del Prado Boulevard at Northeast 16th Place between Northeast 17th Terrace and Northeast 18th Street.

In addition, motorists should be on alert for a shift in traffic to the west side of Del Prado Boulevard from just south of Kismet Parkway to just south Diplomat Parkway. Travel lanes on the east side of the road will be closed to motorists which have reduced both northbound and southbound traffic on Del Prado Boulevard to one lane only in this section of roadway.

Advance warning signs, electronic message boards, barricades and flagmen will be used to assist those traveling through the area. Construction on this section of roadway is scheduled for the next several months, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Motorists are urged to use caution and to seek alternative routes whenever possible. Weather and unforeseen circumstances may cause delays.
