On Tuesday, Feb. 17, and Wednesday, Feb. 18, from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., motorists are being alerted that there will be temporary road closures to the east of Del Prado Boulevard at Northeast 16th Place between Northeast 18th Street and Northeast 16th Terrace. Then on Thursday, Feb. 19, a temporary road closure is scheduled for Northeast 16th Terrace between Del Prado Boulevard and Northeast 18th Place. These closures are due to drainage structure installation work as part of the ongoing Del Prado Boulevard Improvement Project.

According to the city, advance warning signs, electronic message boards and barricades will be used to assist drivers traveling through the construction zones. Work on this section of the roadway is scheduled for the next several months, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Motorists are urged to use caution and to seek alternative routes whenever possible. Weather and unforeseen circumstances may cause delays in the work.
