The Fort Myers Police Department’s Traffic Unit is committed to increasing traffic safety and awareness on city streets. Based on citizen complaints, recent crash data and information from neighborhood watch groups the Traffic Unit will focus law enforcement efforts at the following locations for the week of Feb. 2:

– S.R. 82 by Fleamasters

– McGregor Boulevard by the Edison Home

– Evans Avenue north of Hanson Street

– First Street from Billy’s Creek Bridge West

– Shoemaker Boulevard and Winkler Avenue
