Unidentified pharmacy robber strikes twice
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying an unknown man who robbed the same pharmacy twice in just over a month.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the man who robbed the Walgreens Pharmacy at 905 E. Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral – once on Dec. 28, and then again on Jan. 21. During both incidents, the man implied that he had a weapon, and said that he needed drugs.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9″, 160 pounds, in his late 30s, sporting a goatee. Detectives say he wore the same brown pants and blue baseball cap during both incidents. Witnesses after both robberies say the man left on foot, headed down Cape Coral Parkway.
Anyone with information on the pharmacy robberies, or the identity of the unidentified suspect, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for up to $1,000 in cash rewards. Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org.
