Lee County launches new tool to inform residents of progress on parks projects
Lee County has launched a new tool to help residents stay informed about projects happening at county parks, preserves and beaches. This tool, which can be found at leeparks.org, is an expansion of the Hurricane Ian Progress Map. It was initially intended to help the community track the status of locations following Hurricane Ian’s devastation, which impacted every Lee County Parks & Recreation site. The tool still tracks the status of hurricane-related repairs but also includes major maintenance and capital improvement projects. More than 60 projects can be viewed via list or map, and users can learn more about individual projects in detailed project pages.
